Millennia ago cave dwellers created shapes and forms on the walls. Maybe these markings were representing significance of their daily lives or maybe there was a deeper emotional expression. Today, visual expression remains a necessary conduit connecting our inner and outer worlds. Artist and writer, Heather Van Uxem Lewis, will share her joy of visual exploration in Salon 2. This workshop will be a journey of meaningful mark making as a form of expression. Let go of fear and judgment. This is open to all skill level, experience, and interest.
This series of experiences combining mediation, yoga, and creative exploration in the visual arts aims at cultivating a fluid and open avenue for the expression of thoughts, feelings, and ideas that are best articulated without words.
